Emworth or ‘The bubble’ like my other half likes to call it…. It’s where we are home now. We moved a couple of weeks ago but didn’t really have the time to go out, explore and enjoy life since. We have done a few walks in and around Emsworth before but none recently.
Last weekend, the weather was lovely and we had my folks visiting. They love travelling and exploring (which is probably where I got it from) and so we went for a walk. Starting in Emsworth, we turned west and walked along the sea-front to the Royal Oak which is on the left hand side, just before you reach the bridge going over to Hayling Island. The Royal Oak is a good pub to stop for refreshments – on a sunny day with pub garden or sitting out to the front and overlooking the water and in the winter with a cosy log fire inside.
The tide was low and allowed us some nice views over the mudflat, tidal creeks, boats and birds. I know that my new home town and its surrounding areas will offer me plenty opportunities for amazing pictures. Today’s picture is not a perfect one. I know that I haven’t been using my camera that much recently and that I’m not used too such bright sun light anymore. More to come 🙂
