The mushroom time is almost over and to be honest this is a pictures from last year but I thought it’s still appropriate for the time of the year and I like it. I’m not a fan of the dark and cold time of the year (as you might have noticed if you follow my posts) but I enjoy the different seasons and see nature change its appearance.
Every season has a different character and with that a different challenge for photographers. What I like about autumn are the colourful leaves, mushrooms and mist at dusk and dawn.
This picture was taken at Swanwick Nature Reserve in September last year. The nature reserve is not very big but good for a 1- 2 hours walk in a lovely forest with a couple of lakes. It’s a good location for a shorter walk, especially as you have many paths to chose from and can vary the lengths of your walk. I’m also planning to dedicate a post to Swanwick Nature Reserve at some point, so keep an eye out. For those of you being local, its definitely a nice place to go.
