Flames – 19/16

My first try ever to take a picture of flames. I’m not very experienced with night photography and pictures in the dark. The only few attempts I’ve taken were lights and reflections which are non-moving objects. A good example is my London picture in week 7 this year. Flames however, are moving and challenging, especially because I had a drink or two and my hands were not as still as they normally are. A new challenge for me – not the drinking, the moving objects in the dark 😉

It was also a very spontaneous attempt as I was surprised with a romantic evening with drinks and music at the fire pit in our garden. We only moved a few weeks ago and haven’t had a lot of time for us and enjoying life. Saturday was the first warm night and it was just perfect to spend the time out there!

I enjoy watching flames, don’t worry I’m not a pyromaniac but it has a very relaxing effect on me, similar to watching the sea and its waves. A medium class picture from a top class evening! I’m hoping for more to come. Pictures and nice evenings that is. will find a pot of gold. The truth is that none has ever found the end of the rainbow or the promised pot of gold. I haven't found them either but I have found many wonderful places during my travels in Europe. Come follow me and see the world with my eyes. Whenever I think I have found the most wonderful place, I know that I will continue to search, discover and travel. I know that I will find new places and that I will again think that they are the most wonderful places that I've ever seen. This a personal project where I want to share my travel experience, passion for photography and creativity with you.
