I’ve been to Queen Elizabeth Country Park a few times but not often enough to know the place well. There is a whole path network for walkers, hikers and cyclists leading through a mixture of dense forest, some lighter areas, fields and open views over the country. The last time I went was early May and I remember huge parts of the forrest floor being covered in white – Wild Garlic in full bloom. I haven’t been this year but it might already be a bit late in the month to go and see it.
