I had heard about Body Worlds many years ago but for some reason, although interested, I never went. A short trip to Amsterdam was a welcome opportunity to change this. Due to the relatively cold and wet weather, we were more focused on indoor activities than exploring the city.

This exhibition is something different, something which is rather unique. I didn’t quite know what to expect and wasn’t disappointed at all. The exhibition in Amsterdam is run under the name ‘The Happiness Project”. You will find yourself on a journey through your body, finding out how it all works and what makes you happy. It’s not all about happiness but it shows how all parts in out body work together and what happens when something goes wrong or we are not in balance. We kind of know but actually seeing it makes a huge difference. Have you seen a fat liver next to a healthy one? Or a smokers lung? There is a lot more… A journey from head to toe. It’s definitely worth it. We spent way more time in it than we thought we would. Keep in eye out for discount vouchers that you can pick up at other attractions and exhibitions or bundle offers that combine multiple attractions and events at a discounted price.
