Serra da Boa Viagem – a place that most of you probably don’t know. It is also known as Bon Voyage Montains and they are only a few kilometres north of Figueira da Foz (Portugal). Only a couple of hundred metres high they still offer an amazing view – to the South Figueira da Foz, to the North Quiaios and endless beaches.
I’ve been there a view times. It’s just such a difference to the city and the beaches and during summer there is usually a fresh breeze. It is also very quiet and during spring there are many wild flowers blossoming. All in all a very peaceful place. This picture was taken in February a few years ago. It just shows how different February in Portugal is to February here and wherever you are.
