I’ve seen this idea in Mao (Menorca) last October. We went on a holiday to Menorca and spent a day exploring Mao. Mao has the biggest harbour on the island and that’s where the cruise ships dock for the day. Plenty of tourists but the city kept its character with many nice small roads and old buildings. Of course, there are also more modern roads with bars, cafés, restaurants and shops. So the shopping and chill addicts will also find what they are looking for 😛
I liked the idea of using water bottles for plants like on the picture so much that I took a picture. We started a little search to find out where we could buy the water bottles and soon we found them. Slightly more expensive than the average water but we bought a couple of bottles that we planned to take home with us… However, we stayed in a hotel with an excellent room service that ‘cleaned up’ all the empty bottles the day before we left… At the end we didn’t have any nice looking bottles and I haven’t seen any similar ones in the UK.
So no sophisticated plants getting bottled water in our garden but maybe an idea for those who like a little bit of DIY 🙂
