Our Garden – 26/16

Newt in our garden

Over the last couple of month I’ve been struggling to write good posts and to go out and take some nice pictures. We’ve been moving house and even though it isn’t an old house, we got so much to do in house and garden to make it ours, our perfect home. We are getting there but it takes a lot of time and the time has to come from somewhere. It comes from our evenings and weekends, the time that we used to go out to explore and do nice things.
We’ll get there again and all the time we are investing is slowly paying off – the house is getting nicer and nicer and so is the garden. I’m amazed by the wildlife that we got there like this little newt. I’ve not been able to determine the type but I’m sure it is a newt as the general difference between lizards and newts is that if it’s quick it’s a lizard. Well this one wasn’t.

Update: This newt has been confirmed as a Great Crested Newt.

...you will find a pot of gold. The truth is that none has ever found the end of the rainbow or the promised pot of gold. I haven't found them either but I have found many wonderful places during my travels in Europe. Come follow me and see the world with my eyes. Whenever I think I have found the most wonderful place, I know that I will continue to search, discover and travel. I know that I will find new places and that I will again think that they are the most wonderful places that I've ever seen. This a personal project where I want to share my travel experience, passion for photography and creativity with you.
