Moinho do Almoxarife – 19/15

Portugal – View from Moinho do Almoxarife

This weeks post of the week is taken in Moinho do Almoxarife (Portugal). I spent many many holidays in Portugal and also lived there for a couple of month. Moinho do Almoxarife is a small village in Coimbra distric far away from the main tourism and what most people know as Portugal.

The area around the river Mondego near Figueira da Foz is known for cultivating Portuguese rice – yes, rice in Portugal! I didn’t believe it but it’s true. The factory on the picture is a rice factory where rice is processed and packed.

Even industrial buildings can look nice. This sunset was different to many others I have seen and put everything in yellow, orange and brown shades.

...you will find a pot of gold. The truth is that none has ever found the end of the rainbow or the promised pot of gold. I haven't found them either but I have found many wonderful places during my travels in Europe. Come follow me and see the world with my eyes. Whenever I think I have found the most wonderful place, I know that I will continue to search, discover and travel. I know that I will find new places and that I will again think that they are the most wonderful places that I've ever seen. This a personal project where I want to share my travel experience, passion for photography and creativity with you.
