Lanzarote… that was long time ago in 2003. Back in the days when I still went on holiday with my parents and back in the days where I didn’t have such an awesome camera as I do now. Unfortunately, that means that the quality of this weeks picture is not quite as good as usually. I wasn’t quite sure which picture to choose when I stumbled over the ‘Lanzarote’ folder on my laptop and had a look at the pictures in it.
I don’t remember that much about the week that we spent there but the picture of a volcano triggered a few memories. Lanzarote – warm, not a lot of vegetation with black beaches. That covers unfortunately most memories. This means that I also don’t remember the name of this vulcano. To be honest I might not even have known it when we stopped to have a look and take a picture. I did a bit of research but wasn’t able to identify it with certainty. Thus I better leave it. Nevertheless, the memory of a strangely bizarre volcanic landscape remained.
