Daydreaming or the busy life of a cat – 33/15

Daisy

Haven’t we all caught ourselves daydreaming at some point? Or dreaming to be an animal? Or at least been wondering how it would be to be an animal? Which one did you want to be?

I don’t have the one animal I always wanted to be. Thinking about domestic animals, it was usually a horse or a cat but for wild animals I can’t really make a decision – bird of prey, snake, lion, lizard or even a mole to experience the live below the surface and see the grass growing. I could make a long list.

I mentioned cat at the beginning of this post and what I think I would like about being a cat is being spoiled yet independent and have a lot of time to sleep… uhmmm sorry, counting mice in my dreams, a very important task because you don’t know how many there are or do you? Of course, I would be a house cat, well loved and looked after. I would keep my humans busy by demanding food and attention, leaving them some fluffy fur everywhere. What? You don’t like my white fluffy hairs on your black shirt?? They are special because they come from me – with all my love.

Oh, you are disappointed that I ignore this pink, fluffy and squeaking ball that you are rolling towards me? Ok, ok I know some of my fellow friends do you humans the favour to go crazy about it and they make themselves ridiculous to do you a favour. What you don’t know is that we cats have a lot of fun watching you when you are trying to entertain us… lol! I’m an old cat. I leave these games for the next generation and enjoy watching. My days are busy enough strolling from the best resting place to the food bowl and back. Such stress to find the absolutely best resting place.

I’m tired now, I think I have to go and rest again. Nice, the backdoor to the garden is open… I will go and doze in the sun shine.

...you will find a pot of gold. The truth is that none has ever found the end of the rainbow or the promised pot of gold. I haven't found them either but I have found many wonderful places during my travels in Europe. Come follow me and see the world with my eyes. Whenever I think I have found the most wonderful place, I know that I will continue to search, discover and travel. I know that I will find new places and that I will again think that they are the most wonderful places that I've ever seen. This a personal project where I want to share my travel experience, passion for photography and creativity with you.
