Although it is mid-November now, the weather has been relatively mild and not much like winter. Last weekend this changed. Although we had a lovely blue sky after many grey days, it was freezing cold or in other words it felt like winter.
We decided to enjoy the sunshine and go for a walk. Funny enough we had done this walk before and the weather was the direct opposite – an extremely hot summer day. Now it was freezing cold and the breeze coming from the Solent was very refreshing.
We left our car in Warsash and followed Hamble river to the Solent, followed the beach for a while and turned left following a path through Warsash common, retuning to our car in a big circle. The first part of this walk is part of the Solent Way which I am planning to write about in a dedicated post (yes, another one on my to-do list).
This picture was taken just after we left the beach and followed the footpath back towards Warsash.
