A late summer day – actually, I’m not sure whether you can still call it ‘summer day’ as it was the 31st October when this picture was taken. It was a warm and sunny day with temperatures up to 20 degrees. We decided to go to Hayling Island. Those who read my post regularly will know that it is one of our quite regularly visited, favourite places 🙂
We started the day with a nice breakfast in the sun at Northney Farm and carried on to the sea front where we went for a short walk on the beach. An old tree trunk seemed perfect for a rest. We sat down, enjoyed the sun and the view of the sea, a lonely surfer and some ships passing by in distance. Only the sky and light made me remember that it was end of October and not a summer day…
