Tulips in the White Gardens -16/17

Arundel Castle is celebrating the Tulip Festival during April and we went there! Originally, we went to see the castle and re-enactment but our visit coincided with the Tulip Festival. Not a bad coincidence at all. The castle gardens were in full bloom and looking amazing, especially on a sunny day. Having lived in the Netherlands where tulips have a long history and tradition, I have seen quite a few tulip fields and gardens in full bloom and all I can say is the Castle Gardens are just beautiful!

This particular picture was taken in the White Gardens surrounding the chapel at Arundel Castle but there are tulips in all the different gardens and the castle grounds.

...you will find a pot of gold. The truth is that none has ever found the end of the rainbow or the promised pot of gold. I haven't found them either but I have found many wonderful places during my travels in Europe. Come follow me and see the world with my eyes. Whenever I think I have found the most wonderful place, I know that I will continue to search, discover and travel. I know that I will find new places and that I will again think that they are the most wonderful places that I've ever seen. This a personal project where I want to share my travel experience, passion for photography and creativity with you.
